Stepping Stone’s drug treatment program is one of the most respected in the world.  We realize that breaking an addiction is very difficult, and we run our program with our patients in mind.  We design a unique treatment program for each and every person who comes to us.  We take a comprehensive life approach to our treatment.  We are not only trying to break the person free of his or her addiction, but to add confidence and value to their lives, as well.

Our Model

We use the 12 step model of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous as our guide.  We have found it to be the most effective and efficient treatment program model available.  Still, we treat every case differently, and every participant in our program is treated as an individual.  We are committed to providing what each of our patients needs to break free from their addiction and begin a new life.

Getting Help for a Loved One

Often, it is very hard to get a drug addict to admit that he or she needs help.  They usually believe that they have everything under control.  In these cases, it may be necessary to organize an intervention in order to bring that person into a drug rehabilitation program, where they can undergo drug detox and start to rebuild their lives. 
An intervention is organized and carried out by a drug and alcohol treatment professional.  It is designed to break through a person’s denial and get them the help they need.  The professional will follow the case from the intervention, through the drug detox stage, all the way through the entire treatment program.

A Family Effort

As part of Stepping Stone’s drug rehab efforts, we also offer a four day family recovery program.  This program helps the treatment program patient and his or her family to heal the wounds caused by the addiction.  So while the patient goes through drug detox and learns to break his or her addiction, the family can get the healing help they need as well.
We know how much pain and suffering addiction can cause.  We know how addiction can tear families apart.  That’s why our treatment program includes the family recovery program, to help families move beyond those problems and into a new life together.
