Staying "clean" long-term is a challenge…but it is possible!  Once our patients complete detox and rehab, they enter our drug recovery program.  This program which patients participate in just prior to discharge offers a number of important benefits towards a permanent recovery. Our program includes:

• Fully furnished two bedroom apartments where patients reside in a positive, supportive environment without distractions and with all the comforts of home.
• Ongoing 24-hour support from our medical, psychiatric and support staff.
• Relapse prevention plan, which helps patients learn what their triggers are and how to deal with them in a more constructive manner.
• Introduction to our drug rehab aftercare center, where patients learn how to live a substance-free life beyond their stays at Stepping Stone.
• Family counseling to help heal the wounds of the past and provide patients with a positive support structure to prevent relapse.
• Strategies for success that prepare patients to address obstacles or issues standing in their way of recovery.
• The ability to live more freely among those who are also recovering in a residential addiction treatment facility.

Our goal is to prepare each patient for long-term sobriety that lasts beyond their stay at Stepping Stone. We give them the tools they need to avoid relapse as they handle life's changes and challenges.
