The drug addiction recovery program at Stepping Stone Center includes recovery apartments - further enhancing a superior drug treatment experience. Our recovery apartments were designed to provide a supportive environment in which patients will experience some of life's challenges while still having the advantage the support system of our drug addiction recovery program.
Recovery Apartments - Our Drug Addiction Recovery Program’s Special Components
Our recovery apartments are an element not usually found in other drug addiction recovery programs. Some drug rehab programs will rent apartments in the community as a treatment component, but fewer still own an apartment complex of recovery apartments. Our patients can experience the utmost in confidentiality. This greatly reduces the risk for relapse since they are exclusive residences for our patients only. It has been our experience that patients are much more easily transitioned from our drug addiction recovery program into their independent living at home when they first get to experience what "real life" may be like in the settings that our recovery apartments provide for them. This component of the drug addiction recovery program experience may not be for everyone - but it works so well for the majority of patients we see. Those patients who still exhibit signs and symptoms of relapse or are not clinically appropriate will otherwise remain in the drug treatment program until discharge.

The Drug Addiction Recovery Program, Recovery Apartments and Rehab Treatment
While residing in our recovery apartments, patients will attend a full day of clinical activities. These groups and individual sessions have a clinical focus that is usually centered on relapse prevention. A person must come to terms with their own relapse prevention plan and how they will manage and maintain it. Relapse prevention is an integral part of any quality alcohol treatment and drug addiction recovery program.
