Codeine Addiction

A commonly prescribed painkiller, codeine is also one of the most common prescription drugs that patients develop an addiction to. The codeine addiction starts setting in when the patient eventually begins to tolerate the medication. In many cases, this can be as quickly as two to three weeks.
