Drug and Alcohol Treatment Based on Christian Values

Came to Believe at Stepping Stone Center for Recovery is a specialized substance abuse program that emphasizes the power of Christ in helping you recover from drugs and alcohol. Good Christians may struggle with drugs or alcohol, but they are still good Christians. They have just lost their way, perhaps because:

• They’ve drifted away from church and prayer
• Temptation and habits gradually edged out time for faith
• They’ve stopped surrounding themselves with the Christian community

We provide you with a Christian-based treatment program designed to renew or enhance your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We offer:

• A Christian therapist with a deep understanding of Jesus and the Bible
• A community of fellow Christians
• Individualized therapy, including scriptures that relate to you
• Intensive Bible study
• Regular church attendance
• Prayer time
• “Celebrate Recovery” twice a week
• Pastoral counseling upon request

Our Recovery Program and the Power of Jesus Christ

A key component of our treatment center, and of 12-step programs all over the world, is a faith in a higher power.

Jesus Christ is your true “higher power,” and he can walk you through anything. We will help you draw on his strength to deal with issues you may be facing, including:

• An overwhelming sense of isolation
• Destructive family dynamics
• Building faith enhancing routines
• Questioning God or Jesus Christ
• Depression or other mental health issues

Our staff’s training and personal experience with the Christian faith enable them to build deep, meaningful relationships with an unmatched level of understanding.

A Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center with Safety and Comfort

It is important that you recover in a safe and comfortable environment where you can be yourself. You should be at ease discussing any issues of faith with staff or in groups. It is helpful to have the support of other Christians going through the same process.

The Path to Recovery for You and Your Family

Part of our Came to Believe track includes a four-day family recovery program at our facility to help heal the family system. Our family therapist will work with you and your family to discuss family faith, past traumas, personal boundaries, and other issues, so that everyone can work towards recovery.
