At Stepping Stone Center for Recovery, the addiction treatment we provide is some of the most comprehensive in the United States. We have spent quite a bit of time designing our state-of-the-art addiction treatment services. We have taken the best of all disciplines to come up with a clinical program that has exceeded industry standards.

While many addiction treatment centers seek Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) accreditation, very few are awarded the "Gold Seal of Approval." Stepping Stone Center for Recovery has earned both. This places us among some of the most prestigious providers of addiction treatment in the nation. In addition, we have also received licensure from the State of Florida to provide inpatient addiction treatment as well as a variety of other services.

Unique and Comprehensive Addiction Treatment

Below are some of the unique and comprehensive addiction treatment services we provide:

Art Therapy is provided by a licensed and credentialed therapist who uses art to help our patients express hard-to-access feelings. Art is also used as a means to begin communication about a particular traumatic event. Art therapy is not "arts and crafts," but a highly skilled component of addiction treatment.

Recreational Therapy is provided by a master's level therapist with a background in recreational therapy. This type of therapy uses forms of recreation to improve communication skills and relationships as well as to develop trust. It can also be a vehicle in learning how to express rage, resentment and pain from the past. As with art therapy, recreational therapy plays a huge part in the addiction treatment experience.

Family Recovery is a component of our alcohol and drug addiction treatment that is heralded as the most powerful experience patients and family members participate in. This three-day occurrence takes into consideration all the aspects of the family system and looks to heal the pain from the past, while presenting everyone with hope for a bright future.
